I'm an associated professor at the University of Copenhagen, where I'm affiliated with the Centre for Language Technology at the Department of Nordic Studies and Linguistics, and a full professor at the University of Malta, at the Institute of Linguistics and Language Technology. I have research expertise from many different language technology fields, such as machine translation, grammar development and content-based querying. My current research interests are in the areas of multimodal corpora and the interface between spoken language and gestural behaviour. Below is some detail about recent work.

Currently, I lecture for the units in Language Processing 2 and Cognitive Science 2 of the MSc Programme in IT and Cognition at the University of Copenhagen.
